Bwari Chairman pledges support for Wike’s infrastructure, renewed hope drive

The Chairman of the Bwari Area Council, Hon. Joshua Ishaku Musa has lauded the infrastructure revolution happening across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), describing the ongoing critical road construction projects as pivotal to the economic transformation of the region.

Speaking with newsmen on the sideline during the commissioning of a major interchange road project linking Jahi and Gwarimpa district, Hon. Musa emphasized that the strategic intervention by the FCT administration directly addresses the needs of ordinary Nigerians, particularly the low- and medium-income earners who make up a significant portion of Bwari’s dense population.

He noted that, the newly constructed interchange bridge serves as a vital economic artery that will drastically cut down travel times, boost local commerce, and ease regional transit.

“This is a major road linking Jahi, Gwarimpa and Bwari.This road is very important. It will save time, and businesses around here will be boosted.

“Once you ply this road, it links you to so many communities within the capital city and Bwari, and you can even access Kaduna Road through it. So, this road is vital and very key to the economic life of the FCT,” he stated.

He noted that the project is a clear indication that the FCT Minister “truly has the citizens at heart,” highlighting that the rapid pace of development achieved within the Minister’s two and half years in office has positively impacted every corner of the territory.

Addressing his plans for the Bwari Area Council in the coming months, Hon. Musa expressed his readiness to replicate the rapid developmental strides of the FCT administration at the grassroots level.

He urged other local administrators to actively leverage the current momentum to maximize benefit for their constituencies.

“Any visionary Area council chairman should just key in. This is an opportunity on a platter of gold to have a working minister,” Musa asserted.

The Council boss pledged his administration’s total alignment with the federal government’s developmental framework, promising a new dawn of robust infrastructure and human capital development for the people of Bwari.

“It is an opportunity on a platter of gold to key into the Renewed Hope agenda of Mr. President so that we can leverage the developmental strides of the FCT Minister and bring that progress into our area councils,” he concluded.

He further reaffirmed his commitment to placing Bwari among the top-ranking, highly developed communities in the nation’s capital.
