CAF CC: Enyimba coach satisfied with 2-0 victory over TS Galaxy

Date:

Enyimba coach Usman Abdallah is satisfied with a 2-0 victory recorded against South African club TS Galaxy.
Goals from Victor Mbaoma and Martins Usule on both halves saw Enyimba claim maximum points in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup playoffs on Sunday.
Despite watching his side labour at home for large spells of the match against a very impressive and youthful Galaxy side, Abdallah remains confident the 2-time African champions will book a place in the group stage.
“I have watched few games they played; we know they are a very good team as I said earlier,” Abd’Allah praised the South African second division outfit as quoted by Busy Buddies.
“They are a very good team with good technical abilities. They also have tactical abilities.
“So, we’ve seen the team, and we try to work on getting the result. The most important thing today is scoring goals and we got two goals. It will come handy when we go back over there.”
Ahead of the second leg, the former Kano Pillars assistant coach said he now has a better knowledge of TS Galaxy, adding that the tie is far from over.
“I think I’ve seen much of the team now, so, we are going to regroup again because it’s only one week (between the two legs), we don’t have much time.
“By tomorrow, the team will regroup, because we don’t have anything to celebrate. It’s not over yet.
“We are going to work on what we’ve seen and we also look out the choice of players that can deliver over there for us.”
