CAF Champions League draws set up thrilling clashes

The group draw for the 57th edition of Africa’s premier club football tournament, CAF Champions League was held in Cairo, Egypt on Friday.
The draw for the 2020/21 Total CAF Champions League Group Stage was done at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Friday 8 January 2021 with mouthwaterinf fixtures.
The draw, conducted by CAF Head of competitions Khlaed Nassar, assisted by Egypt’s legend Hossam Ghaly, produced some thrilling pairings in the way to the continent’s premier club competition’s finals.
Last season’s title holders Al Ahly of Egypt will face the opposition of AS Vita, Simba and El Merriekh in Group A.
In Group B we have TP Mazembe, Mamelodi Sundowns, El Hilal and CR Belouizdad while in Group C sees Wydad pitted against Horoya, Petro Atletico and Kaizer Chiefs.
Esperance, Zamalek, MC Alger and Tuengueth make up Group D
Match Day One fixtures are set for 12/13th February, 2021
