CAF Confederation Cup: Rivers United thrashed 3-0 in Congo

Nigeria champions, Rivers United were on Sunday humbled 3-0 by Diables Noirs of Congo in Group B of the CAF Confederation Cup
The Nigeria Premier Football League winners conceded three goals in 7 minutes in the first half to set the tone on their losing opening Group B match.
Carl Wunda scored the opening goal in the 30th minute before Jaures Ngombe made it 2-0 two minutes later for the host.
Domi Massoumou made it three-nil on the dot of 37th minute.
The defeat leaves Rivers United rock bottom of Group B after the other match between ASEC Mimosas and Motema Pembe ended goalless.
Rivers United will take on ASEC Mimosas on Sunday February 19, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on matchday 2.
