A Magistrates’ Court sitting in Minna on Tuesday arraigned a 25-year-old carpenter, Danladi Isiaku, for stealing a television set.
The accused was arraigned on a three-count charge of criminal trespass, house-breaking and theft.
The Police Prosecutor, Mr Daniel Ikwoche, told the court that one Deborah Atuku of Shiroro Road, Minna reported the matter at the police station on Dec 5.
Ikwoche said the complainant alleged that the accused and two others, one Mohammed and Lawali, now at large, broke into her house and stole her plasma TV, valued at N50, 000.
