The Catholic Bishops of the Kaduna Ecclesiastical Province has donated food items tovictims of insurgency items in Kaduna state.
This was contained in a statement made available to media in kaduna yesterday.
The statement stated that the Catholic Bishops of the Kaduna Ecclesiastical Province which comprises of Kaduna, Kafanchan, Kano, Kotangora, Minna, Sokoto, Zaria Dioceses decided to give the Palliatives to the victims some who are Internal Displaced Person (IDPs)
Speaking during a Mass of Peace held in Kufana, the Bishops said the communities to benefit from the gesture are Dogon Noma, Banono/Akwa-Aku, Ungwan Barde and Ungwan Gora.
The Communities have been on the receiving end of the crisis rocking Kajuru Local Goverment Area.
Rev. Fr. Joshua Yima Achir of the JDPC Kaduna led the Distributions process.
According to him the gesture of the Bishops is to help in bringing succour to the victims and facilitates their quick return to their houses.
