The #BringBackOurGirls movement has intensified its campaign for the rescue of the abducted girls, by taking its protest to Berger junction in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The 219 Chibok school girls, who have been in captivity for almost 5 months now, are still being held in the camp of their abductors.
Speaking yesterday during their protest at Berger, Wuse junction, the Group maintained that “the Chibok parents are tired of waiting; if it were the children of these government officials, they would have been rescued within 24 hours. Terrorist attack to one is terrorist attack to all; we will not leave the street”.
The advocacy group said every 10days is their milestone, adding: “We are the so-called giant of Africa the abducted girls and their parents believes that the nation Nigeria will stand for them because it is there right. Similarly, the National Assembly has said it is not business as usual but business unusual. It is their right to be rescued, as the Constitution demands”.
