Christmas: People who voted us to power are faced with hardship — Bauch Gov

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdukadir Mohammed, has expressed worry, saying people who voted them to power are faced with hardships.
Governor Bala while begging for patience among the citizens of the state, said his government will work tirelessly towards reducing the current economic hardship in the state.
The governor made this known in a Christmas goodwill message to the people of the State.
“We will not relent in this regard. I call on you all to continue to exercise patience, while we work towards ending the hardship”, he pointed out.
The Governor while felicitating with Christian faithful on this year’s Christmas celebrations, said his administration is not unmindful of the current economic hardship being experienced by the generality of the people of Nigeria.
He said: “Indeed, we are worried that the very people who gave us the mandate to formulate and implement policies for the betterment of their socio-economic wellbeing are being subjected to untold hardship”.
Governor Bala said as a subnational government, his administration is doing everything possible to ameliorate the hardship and make life meaningful to all the citizens.
The Governor said the state government under his stewardship has been providing palliative items to bring succor to the people.
“We will not relent in this regard. I call on you all to continue to exercise patience, while we work towards ending the hardship.
The Governor who appreciated the support of the christian community to his administration since its inception, noted that his government is striving as much as possible to reciprocate the gesture by embarking on policies and programmes that have direct bearing on the lives of the people.
“With your continuous support and understanding, all nooks and crannies of the state would benefit from our developmental programmes”, he declared.
He said that the state government is collaborating with security agencies to address real and perceived threats to security of lives and property of the citizenry.
Governor while wishing the Christian faithful a merry Christmas, prayed that the occasion will be observed peacefully.
Meanwhile, the Bauchi State government has distributed food items worth millions of naira to Christian communities in the state.
