Dr Baba Mohammed, proponent of the National Commission for the Coordination and Control of the Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NATCOM) Bill, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of Christmas.

In his goodwill message, the Madaki of Ankpa wished Christian faithful and all Nigerians a joyous celebration, emphasising the season as a time for reflection, gratitude, and peaceful coexistence.

Dr Mohammed prayed for unlimited joy and sustained happiness for the citizens, while expressing hope that peace will prevail across the nation.

He urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in prayers for the country and for the successful operations of NATCOM, stressing that the commission’s full implementation would help address security challenges.

The NATCOM proponent also highlighted the potential benefits of the commission, including employment for the youth and the strengthening of the national economy, describing it as one of the notable legacies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
