Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze produced an impressive performance as AC Milan defeated Manchester United 4-2 in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
According to a report by Daily Post, Chukwueze scored one goal and made two assists in the closely contested encounter.
Manchester United made a quick start, taking the lead through Harry Maguire just two minutes into the game.
Despite controlling possession for much of the first half, Ruben Amorim’s side could not extend their advantage.
Chukwueze brought Milan level eight minutes before the break, finishing from close range after finding himself in the right position.
United restored their lead six minutes into the second half when Patrick Dorgu found the net, but Milan responded strongly.
Chukwueze turned provider shortly afterwards, setting up Alphadjo Cisse for Milan’s second goal in the 57th minute.
The Nigerian then recorded his second assist in the 68th minute, when he teed up Gonçalo Ramos to put the Italian side ahead.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek completed the comeback three minutes later with a fine finish as Milan secured a 4-2 victory.
