A Lecturer at the Federal University Gusau, Mallam Yusha’u Jibril has blamed the high rate of social vices and crime committed by the youths in the society on complete lack of parental care in the homes which translated to adverse multiplier effect on the larger society.
He made the assertion during the 26 Annual End of Ramadan Lecture organized by Federation of Muslim Women’s Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN) in kaduna yesterday.
The Cleric noted that the parents have neglected their roles in the upbringing of their children, hence subjecting them to committing crimes.
