The Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, in Osun State, Tosin Odeyemi, speaking on behalf of the coalition in a statement on Tuesday, said the coming together of the parties has become necessary.
Odeyemi added that there is an urgent need to salvage the state from the directionless governance it is experiencing presently.
In his words, “Now, it has become imperative for us, like-minded political parties in the state, to rise to the occasion and save the state from more agony. We are having deliberation. Talks are progressing well and the political parties involved are showing commitment to the project.
“They are all ready to work together to unseat Adeleke, come 2026. Osun should expect a strong coalition that would work together and end the PDP administration in 2026.
“Osun people deserve better. We cannot continue to fold our hands and watch our common heritage go down the drain. The government of the day is disappointing the Osun people.
