Speaking at the same event, a Lagos community leader and an All Progressive Congress (APC) stalwart, Prince TajudeenOlusi also called on Lagos residents to see security matter as a collective responsibility for peace to reign in the centre of   excellence.

He appealed to the people to be alert at all times and police their communities themselves, saying that “While it is not possible for everybody to carry arms like the police and other security agents, the act of policing cannot be left to the security personnel alone but all of us should see it as our responsibility and gather information on happenings around us and give it to our respective Neighborhood Watch, who will now pass the information to the appropriate authorities”.
