CONYSSA Hails NYCN President’s Emergence as a Triumph of Merit

The Coalition of Nigerian Youths on Security and Safety Affairs (CONYSSA) has hailed the emergence of Comrade Babangida Onimisi Isa as the National President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) as a triumph of merit, competence, and dedication to the ideals of youth development and national progress.

In a statement signed by Maryam Aminu, Director of Media, on behalf of Ambassador Ade Mario Emmanuel, Director-General of CONYSSA, the coalition praised Isa’s commitment to youth mobilization, national unity, and security awareness. “Comrade Babangida Onimisi Isa has over the years demonstrated uncommon commitment to youth mobilization, national unity, and security awareness. His emergence as NYCN President is both a reward for hard work and a call to greater service,” the statement read.

CONYSSA expressed confidence that under Isa’s leadership, the NYCN would experience renewed vibrancy, inclusivity, and strategic engagement in addressing youth-related challenges across Nigeria. Ambassador Emmanuel further praised Isa’s track record of collaborative leadership, noting that his administration promises to deepen partnerships with key youth stakeholders, government institutions, and civil society organizations in advancing the national agenda.

The coalition also extended heartfelt commendations to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for nurturing an enabling environment that continues to produce dynamic young leaders who are making waves on the national stage. “We salute His Excellency Governor Ododo for his investment in human capital and his belief in the capacity of Kogi youths. The emergence of Comrade Isa from Kogi State is a reflection of the state’s strong leadership culture, youth empowerment policies, and support for civic participation,” Ambassador Emmanuel added.

The Coalition reaffirmed its readiness to work closely with the NYCN leadership under Comrade Isa to advance the collective interests of Nigerian youths in the areas of security, safety, civic engagement, entrepreneurship, and nation-building. CONYSSA called on all youth bodies, voluntary organizations, and state chapters to rally behind the new NYCN President to build a united, empowered, and progressive youth community that can drive Nigeria’s development and growth.

CONYSSA reiterated its commitment to supporting the NYCN in its quest to empower Nigerian youths and promote national development. With Isa at the helm, the coalition is optimistic that the NYCN would make meaningful contributions to the country’s progress and prosperity.
