The paramount Oba (Chief) of Yoruba Community in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Oba Olusegun Salau, the Otunba of Yoruba Community in the FCT, Dr. Wasiu Tunwase as well as the Secretary-General of Yoruba Community in Abuja, Oba Abiodun Alice, have attended the coronation of Yoruba titleholders at Yimi/Machydna in Gwagwalada Area Council.
Some Yoruba titleholders who were presented with the Certificates of Honour by the Oba of Yimi/Machydna, Oba Opeifa Olatunji Olusegun are: Chief Tajudeen Abdullahi; Asiwaju of Yimi Community, Chief Obayemi Adeleye; Olori Odo of Yimi Community, Chief Mrs Jawa Okiki; Iyaloja of Yimi and Chief Amos Oyetunji Okewole, the Babagunwa of Yimi Community.
Others include: Mr Gudus Adeleke; Personal Assistant to the Oba of Yimi, Chief Opeyemi Awosika; Baale of Angwan Yorubawa of Yimi, Chief Oloyede Ayinla; Baa Gbimo of Yimi and Mr Abdulkareem Sani, the Secretary to the Oba of Yimi.
Speaking at the occasion, the Oba of Yoruba Community in the FCT, Oba Olusegun Salau charged the newly crowned Yoruba leaders at Yimi Community to join hands with the Oba of Yimi/Machydna to move the Yoruba Community forward there.
