Coronavirus: Minister donates medical items to Kebbi govt

The Minister of Justice and Anthony General of the Federation Abubakar Jika Mallami (SAN) has donated 40feet containers contained face marks, Hand gloves, oxygen regulators and emergency beds other medical equipment to the kebbi State Government
Presenting the items to the Kebbi State yesterday at the Birnin Kebbi, the National Administrative secretary in charge of Mallami NGOs called Khadimya for Justice and Development Initiatives Farok Abubakar said that the gesture is to complement governments efforts in curbing the Corona Virus pandemic outbreak in the State and Nigeria as all.
He stated that the aimed is to enable the hospital ready for any eventualities and ensured that lives of the citizens have been protected.
In a related Development, the Kebbi State Youth Leaders in charge of Gwandu Emirate Alhaji Abubakar Atiku Danbila (Sarki Samari) has donated the Surgical Face Mask and other Medical items to the Market Associations in the State.
Presenting the items to the General Manager in charge of the Central Market Birnin Kebbi, the Youths leader said that the gesture is to support the State Government in its effort to prevent the spread of Corona virus in the state.
The Sarki Samari said that the youth leader deemed it necessary to support Kebbi State Government on the fight against the pandemic disease.
He said that the aim of the sensitisation was to ensure that people comply with the directives of the state government on the precautionary measures put in place to prevent the outbreak of Covid 19 in the state.
He said the gesture was part of the youth social responsibility to support the well-being of people in the state, as market is place where different people enter and purchase good.
“As we are all aware, Covid 19 pandemic is disturbing the world and killing many people, so we the Kebbi youth group deemed it necessary to support the fight against the disease, he said.
In his response, the General Manager in charge of Market Association Kebbi State Alhaji Aminu Umar expressed appreciation to youth leader for the donation .
He commended them for supporting the state in its trying period. He promised that the items would be judiciously utilized in the fight against Covid 19.
Also in his remark, the chairman Central Market Association Alhaji Umar Dangura thank the Sarki Samari for their unflinching support and love towards the people of the state, assured him of their commitment towards using the items and ensured that kebbi will not record any case of the outbreak.
