The Councilor representing Gwagwa ward in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Suleiman Ogado, has appealed to the FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, to as a matter of urgency intervene in the plight of the people of the ward, due to lack of for access road in the area.

According to him, provision of an improved access road, would boost economic activities in the ward.

Ogado said that the people of the ward have decided to send “Save Our Soul” message to the Minister of FCT, due to the level of sufferings that the people have been subjected to, on daily basis trying to commute from one part of the town to another.

His words:” We have been suffering here in silence, but we can’t bear it no more because the suffering is affecting badly. We are pleading with the minister to come to our aid because criminals have capitalise on the bad roads and be robbing people at will.”

He however expressed the readiness of the people of the ward and the entire Gwagwa to always demonstrate their support to the minister and the President Goodluck Jonathan, in their quest to transform the fortunes of Nigerians through their laudable projects and programmes.

It would be recalled that the deplorable state of Gwagwa-Karimo road in Abuja Municipal Area Council has assume a worrisome level to the extent that the users of the road are now seeking way of fixing the road including self-help, to at least reduce the seemingly unending hardship they are encounter while moving in and out of the area.
