The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Wednesday sentenced four men to life imprisonment for their involvement in Boko Haram activities in parts of Borno State between 2021 and 2024.
The trial judge, Justice James Omotosho, handed down the sentences after the defendants, who were charged separately, pleaded guilty to the offences.
The convicts are Ali Abiso, Bakura Abah Kabiru, Ado (also known as Luka Garba), and Babagoni Masawai.
They are among over 500 terrorism suspects currently being prosecuted by the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation before the Federal High Court in Abuja.

The prosecution said the offences contravened Section 17 of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022.
Upon his guilty plea, the court convicted Abiso and sentenced him to life imprisonment on counts two and four, and 25 years imprisonment each on counts one and three, to run concurrently.
