A Magistrate court sitting in Keffi Nasarawa State, has restrained Hon Musa Mohammed Pali, from encroaching and trespassing in the plot of land of one Mr. Ernest Ibrahim Anzaku.
The presiding Chief Magistrate, Jubrin Isa Shittu held the order subsists, pending the hearing of the motion on notice and final determination of the substantive case.
The court also restricted the lawmaker representing Alkalari Kirfi of Bauchi federal constituency from digging or doing anything in whatever manners at the plot situated at behind ME and YOU close to Antuan Bridge Keffi LGA of the state.
Ruling on the matter in case No: CMC II /K/CR108/2021, the court
advised and cautioned the defendant to desist as well as stop any further acts of mischief, trespass and intimidation of the applicant.
Reacting to the ruling, complainant Mr. Ernest Ibrahim Anzaku, decried on the level of destruction caused by the lawmaker despite the court order and called on the authority to take stringent action against the violator.
He lamented on a situation whereby some privileged political office holders violate court order and the constitution of the country by suppressing the poor masses, calling on Nigerians not to support injustices in the land.
According to him “we need to respect our judiciary and obey constituted authority. Why should a political figure violate court order. We must respect our laws as citizens of this country. My fence, security gate and crops have been destroyed in the land,” he lamented.
