Court stop PDP LG state congress in Jigawa

Few hours for commencement of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) local government congress in Jigawa state, the high court of justice of Jigawa state has ordered the party to stop for the conduct of the congress.

This was contained in the order issued by the court judge justice Musa Ubale at the court sitting held yesterday in Dutse.

“an order of interim injunction restraining the defendants/respondents, their agents, privies or any other person(s) acting for and or on behalf of the defedants/respondents from conducting local government and state congress as purportedly scheduled in the 1st defendants letter dated 14th December,2020 with reference no.  PDP/DOM/GF.2/VOL.1A/20-217, pending the hearing and determination of the plaintiffs’/Applicants’motion on notice is hereby granted “ the order said.
