The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Zone 14, Ahmad Abdurrahaman has commended the Kaduna State Police Command for recent feats achieved in crime control in the state.
He asserted this when he paid a familiarisation and working visit to the Kaduna State Police Command, yesterday.
AIG Abdurrahaman however, charged the CP to intensify intelligence gathering ahead of the May 29 handing over ceremony in the state
CP M.Y. Garba told his visitor that the command is appreciative of the support being received from the AIG Zone 14.
The CP used the opportunity to warn trouble makers that the command is ready to deal decisively with anyone who attempt to disrupt the relative peace currently enjoyed by the state.
It informed that during the visit, he was warmly received by the Commissioner of Police Kaduna State Command, CP M.Y. Garba, accompanied by other senior police officers in the command.
“During the visit, the AIG commended the Kaduna State Police Command for recent feats achieved in crime control in the state.
“He charged the CP to intensify intelligence gathering ahead of the May 29 handing over ceremony in the state,” the statement said.
According to the statement, in his welcome address, CP M.Y. Garba told his visitor that the command is appreciative of the support being received from the AIG Zone 14.
