Chaplain, Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Clinic, Karu, Abuja. Rev. Emmanuel Gray, has called on Nigerians especially Christians to always be thankful to God Almighty, irrespective of their circumstances in the society.
Rev. Gray opined that there is no other thing greater than having the heart of giving gratitude the creator, if not anything but for the gift of life.
The cleric made the point on Sunday during a sermon, titled: Are you thanking God?, delivered during Dedication service for Master Nathaniel Hussaini, son of Mr and Mrs Hussaini Sati Gummap at the ECWA Garki 2, Abuja.
Reading from the Bible, in Luke Chapter 17:11-19, he noted that there is every reason for people to imbibe the attitude of gratitude to God, as in doing so will they find fulfilment in life.
According to him, for people to appreciate the value of their lives, they should find time and visit hospitals, where some persons are battling with one form of ailment.
Similarly, Rev. Dr. Jonah Samson, while dedicating the child, stressed the need for parents to observe the Christian practice of dedication of offsprings to the church.
According to him, dedication of offsprings in the church, is in line with Christian faith, because it shows obedience to God’s ordinance.
