The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has put the number of fresh registrants under the ongoing continuous voter registration CVR exercise at 6,615,192.
The figure was an update on the exercise as at quarter 3, week 9 as at 7am, Monday 7th March 2022.
The completed registration, within the period, stands at 3,707,233.
The types of registration were online – 1,539,618 and physical – 2,167,615.
Male registration within the period is: 1,863,963, while that of female stand at 1,843,270
The number of people living with disability (PWDs) registered within the period is 31,517 .
Youth within the age bracket of 18- 34) captured with same period is 2,569,852.
The update as provided by the Chief Press Secretary to the INEC National Chairman, Mr Rotimi Oyekanmi shows as follows, “Fresh Registrants: 6,615,192. Completed Registration : 3,707,233.
