A legal challenge has been instituted at the Federal High Court of Nigeria seeking to nullify the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Congress for the South-South zonal position.

The suit, marked FHC/ABJ/CS/591/2026, was filed by Fubara Emmanuel Dagogo against the All Progressives Congress and three other defendants. The defendants listed in the case include Nentawe Yilwatda, Victor Giadom, and Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.

According to court documents, the plaintiff is seeking an order to void the APC National Congress scheduled for March 25, 2026, particularly regarding the position of National Vice Chairman (South-South). The application is based on allegations of exclusion from the process.

The matter, filed on March 23, 2026, is currently awaiting assignment to a judge. It has been tentatively adjourned to March 24, 2026, for further administrative steps, including confirmation of service and the setting of a substantive hearing date.

Legal representatives for the plaintiff indicated that the action aims to ensure fairness and adherence to party guidelines in the conduct of its internal processes.
