Governor Usman Sa’idu Dakingari has approved the appointment of Engineer Abubakari Dakingari as the Director General of the newly constructed Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport.
A press statement, signed by the chief press secretary to the Governor, Alhaji Abubakari Mu’azu Dakingari, made available to newsmen at the weekend, said the appointment takes immediate effect.
According the statement, until his new appointment, Engineer Dakingari was Director, Civil Engineering in the state Ministry of works and Transport. A graduate of civil engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1988, he also has Master’s Degree from the same University in 2004.
The new Director-General is a fellow of the Nigeria Society of Engineers, Member council of regulation of Engineersin Nigeria (COREN), and member, Association of Civil Engineers and also Fellow, Institute of Civil Engineers.
