Dakingari District jostling for Permanent Secretary position

The people of Dakingari District in Suru local government area of Kebbi State has appealed to state government to appoint a permanent Secretary in the area to replace the retired ones, to enable the district have sense of belonging.
A youth leader in the area, Comrade Abubakar Garba, who spoke to newsmen yesterday in Birnin Kebbi, explained that since the retirement of Alhaji Muhammad Sajo Dakingari as permanent secretary he has not been replaced by any son of the district.
According to him, “We have many qualified sons and daughters that can be appointed as permanent secretaries,” adding that the entire district is yearning to hold the position again.
Garba further described the Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu led adminstration of the state as a listening government who always want to meet the demand and yearnings of the citizenry while commended the efforts of the government for providing infrastructural development as well as prompt payment of workers salary.
“I can say that the governor has tremendously turned around the lives of kebbites in various strata of human endeavour, especially in the area of agriculture, healthcare delivery and education, there is no gain saying that the administration has done remarkably well in those areas and the most paramount of all is the security aspect”
According to him the government has accorded utmost priority to security sector reason why it remains as one of the most peaceful states in the country while urging people to rally behind it by given it another mandate in the forthcoming 2019 general elections so as to continue the good work it has started.
He further stressed that the youths in Dakingari district already engaged themselves in enlightening the public on the importance of voters registration card (PVC) during the exercise and currently staged a crusade on the need to votes for people with proven integrity as to ensure good governance.
