The Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadi and Minister of Defense Alhaji Muhammed Badaru Abubakar laid the foundation of 1,500 houses in Jigawa state.
Speaking at the occasion, the defense Minister described the effort as a sign of commitments towards moving the state forward.
“During campaign I told Jigawa people that, His Excellency Umar Namadi is a gentleman, Straight forward, prudent and patriotic, if elected he will not disappointed us, thank God today I am vindicated.
“Goverror Danmodi has built from our legacy, so many projects and programm that touched the life of Jigawa electorates have been executed in the last eight month, today we are witnessing the foundation of another laudable project, the construction of 1,500 Houses across the state.
“I also feel honored and delighted for inviting me to be part of this historical event, thanks and I promised to continue given my support for making Jigawa state great”.
While making his remarks, the state governor Malam Umar Namadi said the construction of the 1,500 house is part of his Government commitment to provide affordable houses to the people of the state inline with his12 point agenda.
