The Presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari as part of his continuation of electioneering campaign advised the electorates to defend their votes in the February elections and give no room for any manipulation or rigging by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party,PDP.
Buhari made the disclosure in Minna yesterday while addressing the mammoth crowd of his supporters at polo ground, said, “Do not leave the polling units, until the result is declared.”
According to the presidential candidate, anything that would jeopardize the result of the election should not be allowed to take place, “where ever you are, defend your votes during the February elections.”
Buhari also assured the people of the state that he will provide enough power to enable business men and women to carry out their businesses in a well dignified manner. Saying without power, most of the industries will not strive
He said if voted, he will improve the agricultural sector in Niger state, knowing full well, the state is one of the food basket of the nation and will complete all the ongoing federal projects within 4 years of his governance.
Speaking at the rally, former Governor and leader of APC Ahmed Bola Tinubu said President Goodluck Jonathans’ administration is characterized with bunch of lies and that is why the country cannot move forward.
He said, “Six years ago, he promised us that, he we will step down and will not re-contest again, but today, the same is the case, putting the country into economic mess.
Tinubu urged the electorates to get their voters cards for the election, stating that their cards will bring development to the nation.
Buhari’s campaign Director General, governor Rotimi Ameachi stated that transformation agenda of president Jonathan is only on paper and lies but if Buhari is elected Nigerians will see real transformation within four years of his administration, fight insecurity and corruption to stand still in the country.
