Delta First Lady puts smiles on faves of destitute

The wife of the Delta State Deputy Governor, Mrs, Ebierin Otuaro, has marked her 45th birthday anniversary with the downtrodden in the society.
Mrs Otuaro who said that she decided to give the destitute succour by putting smiles on their faces to make them have a sense of belonging said, “Just a hug is enough to heal someone, just a smile can heal somebody.”
“We are all needy, even the billionaires we all need something sometimes. There are some people who have money, but they are not doing anything. Until you impart your world, you are nothing,” Mrs Otuaro said.
She called on those that God has blessed in the society to remember the downtrodden and put smiles on their faces, even as she admonished the caregivers of the destitute not to be discourage by the challenges they faced from some of their inmate but to always go to God in prayers to strengthen them.
Otuaro, an engineer, who distributed food, assorted items and cash gift to healing homes in the state appreciated the heads of the various healing homes, saying that they were making up for the lack of some in the society.
According to her, “It is one thing to have vision, it is another to get it done. You have taken it upon yourself to help others who cannot help themselves, God will reward you.”
In his remark, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Women Affairs, Community and Social Development, Mrs Kevwe Agas who was represented by the Director of Rehabilitation, Mr Peter Okocha, stated that the celebrant’s resolved to assist the healing homes with food and other items was a testimony to her motherly character.
