The 34th UNFP Awards Ceremony at Paris’s Palais Brongniart delivered an unforgettable celebration of football excellence. Paris Saint-Germain sensation Ousmane Dembélé captured the headline crown, securing his second consecutive Ligue 1 Player of the Year award.
Despite limited minutes due to selective rest, Dembélé’s staggering efficiency—averaging a direct goal contribution every 60 minutes—proved undeniable to voters.
Beyond the capital’s heavyweights, a new era of French football stepped into the limelight. Bayern Munich’s creative engine Michael Olise beat out Kylian Mbappé to claim the Best French Player Abroad award.
Meanwhile, Marseille’s Mason Greenwood earned a rightful place in the highly competitive Ligue 1 Team of the Season alongside Dembélé.
Didier Drogba took home one of the night’s most prestigious special honors, winning the Trophée UNFP du Joueur Citoyen (Social Citizen Player Award)
Adding to the night’s high drama, RC Lens mastermind Pierre Sage staged a major upset by beating out PSG’s Luis Enrique to claim Manager of the year
