The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate for the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye, has vowed to probe all past administrations in the state if he emerges as the winner.
The former federal lawmaker, who spoke while featuring on Channels TV on Tuesday, alleged that previous leaders in the state, including the incumbent Governor, Yahaya Bello, have robbed citizens of their common resources.
Dino revealed that the PDP is collaborating with other parties in the state to unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
He said, “All the injustices done to Kogi State will be probed. It is not just about Yahaya Bello. It is about the mismanagement of our common resources. All injustices done to the state will not only be robbed, but all the stolen monies will be recovered.
There is going to be a lot of collaborations, even with other political parties. Our common resolution was that the APC must vacate the government house”.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had fixed November 11 to conduct gubernatorial elections in Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo states.
