The Chairman, Kaduna state branch of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Dr. Aliyu Usman Bappah yesterday hailed the release of a senior colleague, Dr Stephen Kitchener who was kidnapped by unknown persons in Zaria City of Kaduna state.

It was gathered that the septuagenarian refused to speak with the media on his experience and particularly how he was treated by his abductors.

Sources from the area said Dr. Kitchener has been reunited with his family after a thorough medical check-up was carried out on him at an undisclosed hospital.
