The Dogon Daji community in Tambuwal local government area of Sokoto state has expressed worry over unceremonial disappearance from site of a contractor handling township roads.
In a statement issued to newsmen and made available in Birnin Kebbi and signed by Durumbun Dogon Daji, Alhaji Kabiru Bello expressed dismay over the unpatriotic attitudes of the contractor.
He said the construction firm Mrs SSNY and SONs limited has disappointed the community who had expected to enjoy the 13kilometre roads before the end of year 2020, contratry to the initial contractual agreement.
He further explained that the contract in question was released since the era of President Goodluck Jonathan under the Federal Ministry of Agriculture but some unscrupulous elements diverted it for their personal aggrandizement.
