The presidential aspirant of People Democratic Party (PDP) and former governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Sule Lamido has advised his supporters not leave the party even if he leaves it.

Lamido maintained that people like Obasanjo, Atiku, Kwankwaso, Ameachi, Abdullahi Adamu and Goje also dumped PDP but still, the party remains the strongest real political party in Nigeria.
According to him, somersault in politics is allowed, but it is good for one to be a politician with a good principles.
“Somersault in politics is not a new thing as Obasanjo, Atiku, Kwankwaso, Amechi, Abdullahi Adamu, Goje and many others dumped PDP and some return back to the same political party” he said.
Also speaking at the meeting, the state PDP chairman, Alhaji Salisu Mamuda Ku’it said the party organised the meeting to announce the replacement of some official members of the party who dumped the it and join the ruling party at state level.
Ku’it also directed the party’s leadership at the 27 local government areas of the state to replace any vacant slot with a real member of the party in the area.
