DPOs bag media merit awards

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Gwagwalada Police Command, CSP Hamza S. Musa as well as the DPO in charge of Zuba Police Division in the FCT, CSP Osor Moses, have been conferred with the media merit awards by the management of the Orator Communications Limited, the publishers of the Orator weekly newspaper.

However, CSP Hamza S. Musa bagged an award of “Astute Detective” while CSP Osor Moses also received an award of “Astute Detective”.

Performing the ceremony, the Managing Editor of the Orator weekly newspaper, Mr. Nasir Oseni said the media merit awards were conferred on the Police Officers based on their outstanding performance in the society.

He told the gathering that the leadership of the Orator Communications Limited did not honour a personality or people based on personal interest, adding that the Orator’s media merit awards purely based on merit.

Useni, therefore, called on the two DPOs to always remain committed to their duties and commended them for combating crime at their respective areas.

On their separate responses, the police officers thanked the authorities of the Orator organization for the honour done to them.
