Dr Aliyu sympathises with FCT Minister of State over inferno at Abuja residence

The Onyize of Ebiraland, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu has sympathised with the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Mariya Mahmoud over a fire incident that occurred at her private residence in Abuja on Sunday.

According to the FCT Fire Service, the fire which started in the morning hours was suspected to have resulted from electrical faults.

Dr Aliyu in a condolence message made available to newsmen, however, expressed joy that no lives were lost.

She said, “I extend my unreserved sympathy to the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Mariya Mahmoud on the sad news of the fire incident that occurred at her residence in Abuja.

“I am saddened by the news, as I know how painful it is to lose one’s property. However, I’m relieved to hear that no lives were lost during this unfortunate event.

“It is my prayer that the Almighty gives you and your family the wherewithal to recover every loss occasioned by this tragedy.”
