Niger State Command of NDLEA said it has arrested 68 suspects, convicted 16 persons while 58.862kg of cannabis Sativa, 113.5334kg of psychotropic substances and 272.39 liters of cough syrups with codeine were seized from January to date.
The State Commander Haruna Kwetishe in an interview in Minna, disclosed the information.
He warned drug peddlers and dealers to desist from the act and assured to cut major routes of drug in to the state.
He listed the routes to include; Suleja and Mokwa respectively.
Kwetishe commended Niger state government for donating three Sharon buses to the agency in assisting its movement while working round the clock to enhance its National Chairman’s marching order.
