DSCTDA plans demolition of obstructing, illegal structures in Asaba, others

The Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency ( DSCTDA) on Wednesday said it would embark on fresh demolition of obstructing and illegal structures in Asaba, its environs among others, warning that those who have failed to comply with the state government’s directives would be treated as dissidents.

Mrs Joan Mrakpor, Director General of the Agency who spoke to our correspondent said “We are starting another round of demolition of obstructing and illegal structures in Asaba, its environs among others.

“We have sent out notices and we shall soon embark on the exercise. Those who flouted the state government’s directives to remove their caravans from the roads including the drainage systems in Asaba its environs will be treated as dissidents”

Meawhile, Mrs Joan Mrakpor has confirmed that the state governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has expressed his determination to tar more link roads in Asaba inland to give it the status befitting the capital of oil rich Delta State.
