The Archbishop of Kaduna Province and Bishop of Kaduna Diocese, Timothy Yahaya, has urged Nigerians not to lose hope despite the country’s current challenges, expressing confidence that the nation will experience restoration.
Delivering his Easter message in Kaduna, the cleric drew parallels between Nigeria’s situation and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, noting that just as hope was restored after despair, the country would witness a turnaround.
“Nigerians must not give up hope. The God we serve is a God of resurrection. Just as there was a resurrection morning, there will be restoration for this country,” he said.
He added that with faith and perseverance, Nigeria could regain its past economic strength and stability.
Speaking on the mood of the nation ahead of future elections, Yahaya said many Nigerians appear demoralized due to prevailing economic hardship and governance concerns.
The Archbishop, however, called on leaders to act responsibly, warning against actions that could undermine democracy.
