Youths, including Students Movement of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, have congratulated the newly appointed ministers, adding that efficiency transparency should guide their actions to uphold the principles of good governance, ensuring that their decisions are well-informed, just, and in the best interest of the people.
The National Coordinator, APC Youths and Students Movement, Comrade Olamide Odumosu, in his congratulatory message, charged them to engage in open dialogue with their constituents, listening to their concerns and feedback to create policies that resonate with their need
He said ministers should promote unity and inclusivity because a diverse nation calls for leaders who embrace differences and foster a sense of belonging among all citizens. Build bridges that bring people together and address the disparities that hinder progress.
“Demonstrate integrity, humility, and a strong work ethic. Show that you are committed to the cause by putting in the effort to understand the intricacies of your portfolio and seeking continuous improvement.
Engage with each others, government agencies, and stakeholders. Embrace a team approach to problem-solving and policy formulation. Through collective efforts, you can tackle complex issues more effectively and find sustainable solutions.
“Embrace innovation and adaptability. The world is evolving rapidly, and your policies must keep pace. Embrace new technologies, research, and best practices to ensure your actions are effective and forward-thinking.”
Further speaking, Odumosu said
Accountability is non-negotiable ,and therefore ministers should be transparent about their actions, decisions, and progress. Regularly update the public on your achievements and setbacks. This will build trust and allow citizens to hold you accountable.
“They should never lose sight of the people you serve. Remember that your work directly impacts their lives. Stay grounded and compassionate, and let your decisions reflect your commitment to improving their quality of life.
“Congratulations once again and the journey ahead will be demanding, but with dedication, unity, and a clear vision, you can make a lasting and positive impact on your country. Work diligently, serve with honor, and be a beacon of progress for all.”
