A faith base orphanage home, Al- Ansaar Children Home in Kuje Area Council of FCT has brought children with special needs and the orphans together for them to celebrate Sallah festivity.
This was part of the management of the home to give the orphans sense of belonging as children without parents and those that cannot to do things normally as expected.
Ustaz Yunus Salahundeen, who spoke on behalf of the organizers yesterday said children are special gifts from God and no matter the status or the condition of that child sometime some of them lack caregivers as such spirited individuals , organizations and even government should make sure that this children are well catered for.
Ustaz said such reasons prompt the Muslim society like ours, Al-Ansaar to take it upon ourselves as Muslim faithfuls to contribute our quarter through this children Home to take care of the orphans and children with special needs.
Over 300 hundreds children participated in the funfair, with all of them getting gift items from the management of the home.
