The Chairman of Kaduna State Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC,) Hon Ahmed Tijani Mustapha while felicitating with Muslims across the country on the occasion of this year’s Eid el-Kabir celebration, has asked them to imbibe virtues of love, selflessness, and sacrifice towards one another.
He asserted this in his message to the Muslim faithful yesterday in Kaduna noting that it is necessary for the advancement of the nation toward a brighter future.
The IPAC Chairman stressed the need for the Muslim faithful, and indeed every Nigerian, to imbibe the virtues of love, selflessness, and sacrifice, as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el Kabir, stressing the need not to lose hope in the country.
Hon Ahmed Tijani Mustapha who is also the state Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) advised Muslims to use the occasion to rededicate their lives to the service of God and humanity.
He also enjoined them to pray for the country especially Kaduna state to overcome its security and socio-economic challenges.
“I want to use this opportunity to congratulate and rejoice with all Muslims in Nigeria most especially those in Kaduna as they celebrate this year’s Eid el-Kabir and I pray Almighty God to bless them with the rewards of the season as they mark the Sallah celebration,” he stated.
Hon Tijani added that the celebration calls for retrospection in the face of the harsh realities Nigerians are facing and that the tenets of Islam, a religion of peace, must be enough to help Nigerians thread the part to unity and peace needed for justice to drive the country back on its feet.
