As Muslims celebrate Eidel Kabir, the Nasarawa State All Progressives Congress APC scribe Aliyu Bello has called for a harmoniously co-existence amongst the citizens of the state and the nation as a whole for the progress, peace and unity to strive.
Aliyu Bello who gave the admonition Thursday in his resident in Lafia the state capital while addressing journalists on the significance of the feast; calling on the people of the state to always embrace peace by living together with one another as well as extend hands of fellowship to the needing irrespective of tribe or religion sentiment. He added that the celebration is all about love, peace and unity as exemplified by the Holy Quran.
Speaking further on the political atmosphere in the state, Aliyu implored the other members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly to join hands with the duly elected speaker Right Honourable Abdullahi Balarabe in order to work together for the interest of the good people of the state.
“I urged the other members to come together and be sworn-in- so as to work for the interest of their constituents, state and the Nation at large. What the state need now is development. Let them unite and support the speaker Balarabe in order to work for the future generation to come. Crisis is destructive, Nasarawa is our own state. Come let us work together for prosperity”. Aliyu maintained.
He further charged youths who are the future of the state to embrace education as well as support the present administration of Engineer Sule who is a youth friendly Governor in order to enable him succeed.
