Ejiwumi Dynamics and Babayaro Academy are the last two academies standing after the duo reached the final of the maiden edition of Odgogwu U-17 football tournament ongoing in Gwagwalada, Abuja
According to the Local Organizing Committee Chairman, Thompson Ojukwu, in the first semi-final match played at the weekend, Ejiwumi Dynamics defeated Sensational Stars by a lone goal, while Babayaro Academy showed class over Real Justice Academy by four goals to one.
Babayaro Academy will now trade tackles with Ejiwumi Dynamics in the finals, with Sensational Stars settling scores with Real Justices Academy in the 3rd place match.
The tournament which is sponsored by the Sporting Director of Abia Warriors Football Club Patrick Ngwaogu (Odogwu Ndi Abia) is aimed at discovering the hidden talents in the area, and giving them the opportunity to future exposures.
The date of the final and 3rd place matches will be announced soon.
