The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted the Gubernatorial Appeal Panel to consider appeals arising from the conduct of the governorship primary election for the upcoming 2022 governorship election in Ekiti State.
The 25-member Appeal Panel is headed by the National Chairman of the PDP, Dr Iyorchia Ayu, with the National Secretary of the party, Senator Sam Anyanwu as Secretary.
This was contained in a statement yesterday by the National Organising Secretary of the PDP, Hon. Umar M. Bature in Abuja.
The Appeal panel has been scheduled to sit today (Friday, January 28, 2022) at the National Executive Committee (NEC) Hall of the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja at 3pm.
Aside Ayu and Anyanwu, other members of the Appeal Panel include; Amb. Umar Iliya Damagum, Amb. Taofeek Arapaja, Hon. Arch. Setonji Koshoedo, Hon. Umar M. Bature, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, Kamaldeen Adeyemi Ajibade, SAN, Alhaji Ahmed Yayari Mohammed Daniel and Ambrose Woyengikuro.
Others are; Prof. Stella Effah-Attoe, Muhammed Kadade Suleiman, Okechukwu Obiechina Daniel, Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo, Chief Dr. Ali Obasi Odefa and Chief Dan Osi Orbih.
The rest are; Mr. Emmanuel Nicovoa Bovoa, Hon. Theophilus Dakas Shan,
Dr. Aminu Abdullahi, Alhaja Mrs. Mutitat Ladoja (BoT-SW), Amb. Mrs. Fidelia A. Njeze (BoT-SE), Sen. Liyel Imoke(BoT, SS), Mrs. Laurencia Malam (BoT-NW),
Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri(BoT-NE), and Prof. Jerry Gana(BoT-NC).
Bisi Kolawole, the anointed candidate of former Governor Ayodele Fayose emerged the PDP governorship candidate at a primary election heldin Ado Ekiti, the State capital on Wednesday.
