The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fired back at former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, following his recent criticism of the party and his defection to the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

The ruling party dismissed El-Rufai’s claims that it had abandoned its progressive ideals, calling his remarks a cover for personal grievances.

This was contained in a statement signed by APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
