The Embassy of Hungary in Abuja has expressed deep sadness over the passing unto glory of wife of Nigeria Teqball Federation, NIGTEQ and Nigeria Olympic Committee, NOC President, Engr. Habu Gumel, Late Mrs Ladi Gumel.
Late Mrs Gumel passed on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 after suffering from a protracted illness.
The Hungarian Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Sandor Beer and the entire staffers of the Embassy of Hungary in Abuja have expressed shock over her death.
“We are shocked and saddened by the transition of Mrs Gumel because she was actively supporting her husband in sports development in Nigeria. She was a woman of immeasurable attributes and we mourn her deeply”
“We therefore console the husband, Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel. We pray God to console the family and grant them the fortitude to bear this unbearable loss,” the Ambassador said.
Hajia Ladi Habu Ahmed, aged 61, is survived by the husband, Engr Habu Ahmed Gumel and four lovely children and has since been laid to rest according to Islamic rites.
May her beloved soul rest in peace.
