The Emir of Dass Ahaji Othman Bilyaminu Usman has declared that hard work earned Bauchi State chapter chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Comrade Hashimu Mohammed Gital the traditional title of the Jarma of Dass emirate.
Bilyaminu stated this at the weekend when the labour leaders, friends and relatives paid him a thank you visit in his palace, saying hard work earned him the traditional title of Jarman Dass.
He said Comrade Hashimu Gital is a hardworking man who works for his people and the entire civil servants in the state so also he create harmony between the work force and the government, adding that “hard work earned the Labour chairman the title Jarman Dass”
“From today i confirmed to you the traditional title of the first Jarma of Dass Emirate because of your hard work “ Othman said
He charge the Labour to continue with the good work is doing for the civil servants and the government to foster more development in the state and the country.
The Monarch said “ you are one of the title holders in this Dass domain, we expect to work with other title holders to bring harmonious relationship and development in the emirate.
The New Jarma of Dass Comrade Hashimu Gital show his gratitude to God and the Emir of Dass for finding him worthy of the title, whom he pledged to work with all honesty and vigour for the emirate.
He told journalists that the traditional title of Jarma means the brave aide who protect the emir and the entire emirate against any aggression or attacked.
The NLC chairman reiterated his commitment towards welfare of the civil servants in the state.
