Emir of Gwandu urges parents to be watchdogs to children

The Emir of Gwandu and Chairman Kebbi State Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Muhammad Eliyasu Bashir has called on parents to be watching their children movements in order to avoid any illegal acts in the society.
He gave this advise yesterday at the Turbaning ceremony of District Heads of Koko, Sarki Koko Alhaji Mohammed Bello Koko adding that there is need for everyone as a parent to show discipline and caution their children anywhere they are in order to tackle the menace of drugs and alcoholism.
He explained further that community policing is important in the society as it will curb the cases of insurgency and criminals acts in the area.
The monarch who therefore directed the entire district heads to concentrate on the community policing in order to reduce the high rate of crime and drugs abused in the societies.
