It was a day of colour, culture and deep emotion in Kaduna as Governor Uba Sani played a symbolic fatherly role at the wedding of Fatima Nasir Dambatta, daughter of his Senior Special Assistant on Print Media, Nasir Dambatta during an event that drew a powerful mix of political heavyweights, traditional rulers and society figures.
The governor was represented by his Principal Private Secretary, Professor Bello Ayuba whose arrival at the Sultan Bello Mosque venue quickly turned into a defining social event, reflecting not just the bond between two families, but the enduring ties within Kaduna’s political and social ecosystem.
According to Professor Ayuba, the sacred atmosphere of the mosque amplified the emotional weight of the moment, even as prayers were offered for a blessed and enduring union.
Malam Muktar Isa, representing colleagues at the Federal Ministry of Industry and DOSA, also expressed excitement over the presence of notable people from Kaduna Government House.
Professor Usman Mohammed and Dr. Kasim Yunusa from Kano, friends of the bride’s father at the event said the Governor has, by the nomination of his Principal Private Secretary, demonstrated the importance of family, trust and loyalty in both public service and private life.
Senior brother of the Aide and former Executive Director of Nigeria Television Authority ( NTA) – Alhaji Shehu Abdu Dambatta and former Director of NECO in Abuja Mustapha Abdullahi Kankarofi, expressed joy at the presence of Faisal Suleman Tanimu, who represented the family of the Majority Leader of Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon Chima Madi, who represented the Chief of Staff; Malam Mohammed Nuraini, who represented Sheikh Bala Lau; Malam Abdullahi Sabiu representative of former NNPC GCEO – Mele Kolo Kyari. Others are Awwal Ibrahim Alhassan, who represented the APC Kaduna State Secretary – Arc Abubakar Rabiu; Bello Hayatu, who represented the MD of KADRA; Hon Zakari Lawal (SSA Lands) who represented the Director-General of KADGIS; Ibrahim Sheikh Adam represented Alh Sani Sado of Kaduna’s “Capacity Movement” and Aliyu A. Sharif, representative of Igabi Social Media. Hon Yahaya Ishaq Maishanu led a team of elders from Kawo Constituency to also pray for the couples, along with Aliyu M. Yero who came on behalf of DMG founder – Alhaji Abubakar Garba Baba-Abu.
Notable colleagues of the Aide from Government House, Shuaibu Gimi and Dahiru Ahmed – Senior Special Assistants on Strategic Communications and Electronic Media respectively, were also at hand to rejoice with the family of the bride.
